Product Introduction:
Outdoor expansion type steel structure fireproof coating is suitable for fire protection of the surface of load-bearing components in various steel structure engineering, and the execution standard is GB14907-2018. It is a similar product to the execution standard GB14907-2002 for outdoor thin and ultra-thin steel structure fireproof coatings. This coating is made by adding various fire-resistant components to polymer based materials. The product has the characteristics of salt spray resistance, corrosion resistance, freeze-thaw resistance, acid and alkali resistance, etc. When subjected to fire or high temperature attacks, the fireproof coating will form a dense fire barrier, hindering the penetration of heat into the substrate, preventing or suppressing combustion, and providing fire protection for the substrate. Fireproof coatings have the characteristics of thin coating, long-lasting weather resistance, and easy application operation.
Suitable for fire protection of heavy-duty steel structural components in various outdoor buildings such as aerospace, petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, national defense, and light defense industries. It is also particularly suitable for fire protection of steel structural engineering with hydrocarbon chemicals (such as oil, solvents, etc.), such as petrochemical engineering, automobile depots, petroleum drilling platforms, and support frames for oil storage facilities. Water based or solvent based (i.e. water-based or oil-based) can be selected according to regulatory requirements. 1. Before construction, the steel surface should be treated with rust removal and rust prevention, and the surface oil and dust should be removed.
2. The solid content of the coating is high, so it is necessary to mix the coating evenly before use. For the convenience of construction, water or solvent can be added for dilution.
3. Various methods such as brush coating, roller coating, and airless spraying can be used for the construction of outdoor expansion type steel structure fireproof coatings.
4. Construction should be carried out at temperatures above 5 ºC, both manual and mechanical spraying can be used. It is recommended that the thickness of each application does not exceed 0.5mm. The next application can only be carried out after the coating surface is dry, until the specified thickness is achieved.
5. When the surface of the component is dewy or the air humidity exceeds 90%, construction should not be carried out. The applied coating should not be exposed to rain before it is fixed. The unused paint during use should be resealed for future use.
Packaging and Transportation:
1. The outdoor expansion type steel structure fireproof coating is packaged in iron or plastic drums.
2. The storage and transportation temperature should be above 0-35 ºC, and should not be stored outdoors or exposed to the sun.
3. The effective storage period of the product is 6-12 months.
4. During transportation, measures should be taken to prevent rain, direct sunlight, freezing, and impact, and relevant regulations of the transportation department should be followed.
