High Vacuum PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) System
Physical vapor deposition (PVD) is a technology where a material is evaporated and condensed to form a thin film coating over an object (substrate). With a wide range of coating materials and thicknesses, PVD can be customized to applications and the coatings can be optimized for various characteristics, such as decorative, optical, electrical, and mechanical properties.
Magnetron sputtering is one of PVD technique, where ionized particle bombard target surface, when energy is high enough, the target atom will be sputtered out. Magnetron sputtering has following advantages:
PVD is used for depositing decorative films on watch casings, jewelry and furniture, as well as for functional films for moulds and dies, cutting tools, and low-friction machine parts. The process delivers a high pass rate and good quality.
The PVD process is used in electronics, optics, and in chemical and mechanical use cases where a thin film is required, including:
- Semiconductor devices (e.g. thin-film solar panels)
- Specialist scientific instruments and tools
- Fabrication tools with PVD coating
- Food packaging (using aluminized PET film)

Description |
The PVD coating machine is particularly designed for protective hard coatings on tools, cutter and moulds. It improves the lifetime of different types of tool, meantime, it can increases the surface hardness.
The metal ions combine with a reactive gas that is introduced into the chamber, strike the target tools or components with high energy and are deposited as a thin and highly adherent coating.

1. The inner packing is protective plastic film to protect the PVD machine from moisture and rain.
2. The out packing is plywood plate with steel to keep the PVD machine in good condition during the long distance transportation.
