Product Description
A rotary dryer is a kind of continuous rotating drum drying equipment with a direct heating source. It is mainly used for drying various mineral materials, and it is a special equipment for drying and dehydrating high-humidity materials. The heat source of the dryer comes from the combustion device, which can be used in the way of down-flow or counter-flow heating.
The rotary drum dryer is mainly used in building materials, metallurgy, chemical plants, cement plant for drying of limestone slag, coal powder, slag, clay stone and so on. This dryer is particularly suitable for drying big granules in the chemical industry, minerals, and metallurgy industries. It can also dry special powder and granule material, such as lightweight calcium carbonate, Floridian, magnetic particles, graphite, limestone, sand, coal, slag, clay, wood chips, mineral powder, ore concentrate, etc.

2. The pin-pin replaceable gear is used to replace the traditional cast steel gear. It greatly reduces the maintenance cost and time.
3. It can be used to dry powder or granular materials. For those materials with adhesion, it can be equipped with a striking device to avoid wall sticking.
4. Drying factors can be adjusted, such as concentration of feeding liquid/thickness of material film, temperature of heating medium, rotating speed of the drum, etc.which can change drying efficiency.

<<< Rotary dryer working principle >>>
1. Materials are sent to the hopper of the rotary dryer by belt conveyor or bucket elevator.
2. Materials enter the barrel installed with slope to horizontal line from the higher side, and hot air enters the barrel from the lower side, and then materials and hot air mix together.
3. Materials go to the lower side by gravity when the barrel is rotating.
4. Lifters on the inner side of the barrel lift materials up and down in order to make materials and hot air mix completely, which is designed to improve the producing efficiency of rotary dryers.
