Chemical composition and hardness of iron base alloy powder
Fe60 iron base alloy powder
Feature Description:
The powder is Fe-Cr-B-Si self-fusible alloy powder, belonging to high chromium cast iron alloy. The welding layer of the alloy can withstand medium impact strength, high temperature hardness, wear and corrosion resistance.
Main uses and processes:
It is recommended for the repair and pre-protection of vulnerable parts such as agricultural machinery, construction, mine and fan. Suitable for plasma surfacing, spray welding, spraying, supersonic spraying and other processes.
Fe30 iron base self fusible alloy powder
Description: Fe30 is a kind of alloy powder with relatively low hardness. The powder has the characteristics of excellent self-melting, wettability and spray welding performance. It has excellent wear resistance, toughness and easy processing.
Application: Suitable for gear, cast iron, rail surface repair and protection.
Powder melting temperature: 1050 ~ 1150°C
Spray welding deposit layer hardness: HRC23 ~ 28
Fe30A iron base self fusible alloy powder
Description: Fe30A is widely used in the repair of railway rail hoops, to solve the track abrasion, depression and other diseases;
Fe30B is resistant to impact and corrosion. It is used for repairing or preventing rot of track, wheel, gear and castings. Fe30C wear resistance, corrosion resistance, easy to process, low pressure valve sealing surface special powder.
Powder melting temperature: 1050 ~ 1150°C
Spray welding deposit layer hardness: Fe30A:HRC25 ~ 30 Fe30B:HRC25 ~ 30 Fe30C:HRC25 ~ 32
Fe45 iron based self fusible alloy powder
Description: Fe45 is an alloy powder with moderate hardness. The powder has good self-melting, wettability and spray welding performance, excellent wear resistance and toughness, and strong impact resistance.
Application: Suitable for plasma surfacing, spray welding, high pressure valve.
Powder melting temperature: 1100 ~ 1200ºC
Spray welding deposit layer hardness: HRC42 ~ 48
Fe50 iron base alloy powder
Feature Description:
The powder is a stainless steel iron - based self - fusible alloy powder containing high Ni - Cr and Mo. It contains fairly high levels of nickel and chromium. Therefore, it has better spray welding process performance, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. The addition of a small amount of molybdenum can improve its seawater corrosion resistance and point corrosion resistance, and improve the strength and toughness of the welding layer, red hardness and high temperature corrosion resistance, and refine the grain.
Main uses and processes:
It is recommended for wear and corrosion resistant welding layer below 500ºC, such as scraper, axle, agricultural tools and so on. Suitable for oxyacetylene spray welding process, plasma surfacing welding, spray welding process.
The powder used for sintering iron base and gold valve disc has excellent formability and abrasion resistance, and does not precipitate carbides which may wear the fitting members. A powder can be provided, which is used as prior art gas atomization method, water atomization method, centrifugal atomization method, etc. to quench the liquid steel, forming a susaturated solid solution of the following alloying elements with austenite as the main body which is effective in softening the powder, wherein the liquid steel by controlling C as an unavoidable impurity element to less than 0.1 mass %, and avoiding carbide precipitation , containing Si:0.5 ~ 8.5 mass %,Ni:10 ~ 25 mass %,Mo:5 ~ 20 mass %,Co:5 ~ 20 mass %, the rest of the composition of Fe and inevitable impurities. The powder has excellent formability during compression forming due to its low hardness. On the other hand, it has excellent abrasion resistance in the valve piece of the final product due to hardening after sintering. In addition, since no carbides are precipitated, there is no need to worry about wearing the fit member.
